Nature of the event - What are you celebrating, and why is it important? -
We are a community focusing on education around the notions of interoperability, web3 and general DeFi knowledge. Our calls are meant to be a way of facilitating knowledge in a different format than what we have been doing. We plan to develop this event further down the line and think minting poaps is a great way to do that!
Distribution plan - How are you planning on getting POAPs to individuals? –
Distributing a Secret word (messaged individually). We took snapshots of the audience at some point of the call.
Why do you believe this petition is being held?
We think this may be due to it being a retroactive mint. I want to reassure that we plan on having a much more robust process (e.g. applying with many days in advance before the event) in the future.
I also want to stress that this first mint is only of 20 POAPs. We don’t think this is a significant amount to suspend the petition.
It looks like your team did in fact create the event, but no mint links were ever requested during setup.

We thought to distribute it with a secret word, but we understand the point that the link is a better choice since is a retroactive poap. We already requested mint links as you explained!. We will await their approval.
