Hello
I’m having a few issues regarding the approval of my POAP’s. I’ve spoken with POAP Staff directly, followed the guidelines, explained the event, how they will be distributed and all the details.
Could you help me out please? #41324 - #41326 - #41327 - #41328 - #41330 - #41331
Be a part of BAYZ’s first event with our amazing community: BAYZ Treasure Hunter #1
A total collection of 6 POAP’s were created to celebrate a week full of content and events within web3.
During this week, special contents will be shared with our community and our Content Creators will also promote this as an special eventful week.
4. Distribution Method
We will share a Google Forms for the attendees of our events, where they will need to fill:
Names/Email
Screen Name/Twitch Username
Secret Word {Only those who watched our channel will have this)
ETH Wallet Address.
The POAP’s will be distributed through POAP’s delivery system using the wallets collected through the forms.
5. Why do you believe this petition is being held?
To be honest, I’m not entirely sure. We’ve changed the delivery/distribution method to comply with POAPs norms and also changed some of the details of the event to make it even more exclusive.
The Curation Body made a negative review of your petition since Delivery is not the appropriate distribution method for your use case.
Issuers have to collect the addresses in a reliable fashion and a Secret word is not enough to determine real participation.
Delivery should only be used in the cases where you can verify that the addresses collected belong to the participants of your event.
For future events: please check the POAP Quality Guidelines. Drops that lack a responsible distribution plan will be negatively reviewed by the Curation Body.
I am a bit confused. I’ve followed Reed’s suggestion about the Google Forms, using the secret word and other questions he suggested. I even sent an email to confirm if I was in the right track - and got a positive response.
If needed, we can increase the steps to ensure it’s safe, for example:
We can be 100% sure the addresses are from people who watched/joined our event because we have all the users who watched the livestreams and participated in our Discord event. (Not related to POAP)
We were planning on crossing the databases to ensure they were, indeed, registered in the event.
So not only we have them filling in the forms with their username and email, we are also using our own event database to confirm. Would that be enough? We can ask them for a second verification step with an email beforehand - contacting all of them and asking for specific questions that happened during the event/livestream.
We can change de delivery method if needed. Are there any suggestions?
