Project Name: Next.ID

Discord: Discord
Description: Next.ID, the world’s first protocol offering Decentralized-Identity-As-A-Service (DIaaS) that integrates all Web2 and Web3 digital identities, offering an identity database for open-source developers and projects to innovate and build dApps on. -
Nature of the event
Planning to reward participants with a POAP drop for tuning in to our upcoming Twitter Space happening on 20th July 9AM EST. It is essential as it will be our 1st official Twitter Space. -
Distribution plan
We will be collecting their wallet IDs via Gleam and collection will be cut-off ~1hr after Twitter Space end (20th July 12AM EST). Proceed to apply for POAP approval.
Once their wallet ID has been approved, we will give the users 7days to mint their POAP. We will utilize the “active” button for distribution methods to prevent unwanted farmers of our POAP. -
Why do you believe this petition is being held?
We hope to promote a safe distribution of our POAP mints. We would like to develop trust with the curators that we know how to utilize POAP correctly and are conscious of potential farmer threats across different distribution methods. -
How many POAPs are we talking about?
We are creating 1000 POAP available for minting.
We have created the delivery: POAP - The bookmarks of your life. However, we wish to edit it and we did not receive any edit codes. Would appreciate it if the team could kindly help!
Hey @Next.ID
Your Delivery petition was rejected by Curators since it doesn’t quite comply with the POAP Quality Guidelines.
The number of POAPs requested should approximate attendance somewhat closely. Curators monitor the size and nature of the communities issuers request on behalf of to evaluate whether requests are reasonable.
In this case, you requested 1,000 POAPs while 489 people attended.
Responsible issuance is a core responsibility of POAP issuers. Issuers must verify attendance of collectors at events and/or collector eligibility for POAPs. Issuers must also size drops responsibly.
Please review the Guidelines and let us know if you have any questions.
Hey Team,
Thanks for reviewing the POAP application. In this case, does it help if I reduce the mint count to 489 instead?
Thanks!
Best Regards,
WW
Hey @Next.ID
I’m sorry but requesting POAPs for people who didn’t participate in the space violates our Policy, so we can’t issue POAPs for this event. It seems you don’t have a trusted way to verify participation.
For future Twitter Spaces, we recommend:
- Using secret word instead of Delivery
- Verifying real participation
Let us know if you have any questions.
