I’m creating a Learn2Earn Twitter Spaces show where we bring expert speakers to teach the community different topics they are passionate about. I’m going to reward our listeners with POAP’s and run ongoing giveaways. I really love gamification and want to make this a fun experience for people to learn about new web3 topics via spaces and be rewarded.
My funnel for POAP delivery will be:
Twitter Spaces → Push people into our Discord → Have them claim the POAP in our #claim-poap channel. I want to avoid our POAP’s getting botted / farmed, so would love any suggestions you have for minimizing this.

After reviewing the documentation, I don’t think secret word is best as I will be pushing people via a channel in our Discord to claim the POAP. Curious what you think is best here !

There’s also other interesting option which is the Degen Bot. Degen allows for automated distribution of POAPs to attendees of Discord stages or Twitter Spaces. Here you can find some info on how to set it: POAP Distribution with DEGEN
When we say that POAP is an ecosystem for the preservation of memories, we intend for POAPs to be mementos of a particular experience. A part of the core value proposition of POAPs is that they are a souvenir your get simply for doing something you generally like to do in your life – there is no particular transactional incentive.
“Engagement farming” is generally defined as issuers using POAPs in a way that incentivizes transactional behavior. Any statement to the effect of “Do X to get a POAP” – particularly where X is an action that boosts performance in social media algorithms – is basically a marker of engagement farming.

We suggest building your community and then using POAP to reward them for participation. If you use POAP to grow your community, you’ll be violating the Curation Body guidelines on proper usage of POAP.
