Hey @Flamingle

Curators made a negative review of your petition.

When we say that POAP is an ecosystem for the preservation of memories, we intend for POAPs to be mementos of a particular experience. A part of the core value proposition of POAPs is that they are a souvenir your get simply for doing something you generally like to do in your life – there is no particular transactional incentive.

“Engagement farming” is generally defined as issuers using POAPs in a way that incentivizes transactional behavior. Any statement to the effect of “Do X to get a POAP” – particularly where X is an action that boosts performance in social media algorithms – is basically a marker of engagement farming.

“Like to get a POAP”
“Follow to get a POAP”
“Tweet about it to get a POAP”

these all violate Issuer Guidelines on proper usage of POAP.

Please read the documentation and let us know if you have any questions.

Inviting people to click on the “contribute” button to collect ETH addresses is not a good way to track or prove evidence of attendance. Actions such as these invites farmers.

All the best,
The POAP Curation Body

Hi Julie,
Thanks for the quick reply!
We actually did a few more things to make sure we are distributing our poaps to “the right hands”.

  1. we opened the form before twitter space started, and snapshoted the form when the twitter space ends.
  2. we were replying the link b/c someone was asking about it in the space
  3. we take a shot from the space and removed everyone who seems to not be in the space

Could you consider our request again? Thank you so much!
Btw, This is our first time doing a poap and we are quite not familiar about the best practices, I am wondering what is the best practices to drop a poap for twitter space? Thx again!

Btw, the contribute form was not a button but a typeform located on our website, I believe we are not doing “Engagement Farming” and we are not require our participants to do retweet or anything. This was just a lovely memory(our first twitter space) that we want to share with our community.

Hello @Flamingle

Thank you for the context and for understanding that we have to protect the protocol without bias.

Since the petition was rejected you are going to have to re-submit this petition.

You can request 1 of the following options:

  1. mint links to be given to each person verified as being a participant
  2. Delivery - if you have ETH Wallet addresses you can use this method

Here are a few resources:

Additionally these resources will be extremely helpful with future drop requests.

I’ve also attached 2 video tutorials that may be helpful.

Thank you so much for your help! I have resubmitted the petition here ~

I closed the other post you just created on Discourse. We will keep our conversation in this thread.

You actually have to re-submit the POAP Drop Petition as described above - not just create a new Discourse post.

@julie I am sorry I am not quite understand the process of resubmit. How should I resumit the petition, i didn’t see relavent details in the doc? Thanks!

Hello @Flamingle
You are going to have to start over:

Request mint links to be given out to each person

or create a delivery petition:
