Attempted to create a test delivery. submitted over 24hours ago and got creation confirmation email but nothing since.
When i go to the delivery link it just returns an error.

The delivery page shows the two test addresses but am stuck here. hoping someone can help please.

Due to the snapshot nature of POAP Deliveries, test deliveries are typically not approved.
You can always test other POAP Distribution Methods.

That explains so much. Yes, i did test out all the other methods and they worked beautifully. Just wanted to make sure the delivery method would work too if we choose to use that.
