It was recommended that I use Kiosk but that won’t work because I have to issue these with an NFC chip

The website is not the proper distribution method for your event.
The POAP KIOSK is the proper way for this to be distributed!
the POAP KIOSK is deployed on a phone, iPad & tablet you do not need an NFC chip to deploy the dispenser

Hi Julie,

The nfc chip is embedded in my hand so I want to share the secret link when people scan it. Similar to the flow that was at devcon with the badges. Can you reconsider?

It is the same email that is currently linked to this discourse account. I had some trouble receiving email from discourse initially, so I changed it a couple of times.

I submitted a trial application about a week ago which was approved but was just a test event. It was id 77410

Are you able to load mint links on to this chip or does it have to be linked to a website?
How do you load the info onto the chip? Through a cellphone app?

The website is the perfect method currently since I can program that link on the chip to open when people scan it. It uses a standard nfc writing interface.

I’m not sure how the IYK chips work but if they can share information maybe that would help.

What would be super useful is a simple kiosk style app that cycles through the codes that I load into it. Just using a link instead of a live QR.

That is what i am wondering if the chip acts like the IYK cards where you pre-load the mint links and it rotates through the links one at a time

Beyond my curiosity – the Curators would prefer to issue mint links to you but if the website is the only way this works for right now the website is fine.

Since the two previous websites were rejected - you are going to have to re-submit them - tell me the event ids when you are done and they will be flagged so that they are not rejected again as duplicate artwork.

The chip is unable to do that natively but I’d be interested in seeing if IYK wants to help add that functionality!

Mint links simply won’t work for now but I’m interested in helping make that possible in the future. For this event I think the website is the only way for it to work
