    Impact Theory is a 21st century digital studio with a reach of 8 million across its social platforms. Impact Theory is home to Project Kyzen, Impact Theory Founders Keys, Merry Modz and more.

  1. Nature of the event
    We are celebrating the one year anniversary of the launch of Impact Theory Founders Keys.

  2. Distribution plan
    I failed to mention this when I appealed this the first time but we DID NOT tell anyone about the POAP prior to the anniversary. This was a SURPRISE to everyone. We did not hint it or give any clues that we would be doing a POAP for keyholders therefore there was NO WAY for anyone to farm this POAP by buying a key specifically for the POAP.

This POAP is ONLY for those who are holders of the Impact Theory Founders Keys. We extracted the full list of all the key holders off of etherscan and entered them directly into the delivery. There are around ~4500 addresses in total.

  1. Why do you believe this petition is being held?
    I appealed this before however it got denied and the ticket was closed while I was away on vacation. Therefore, I am reopening this to hopefully get this sorted.

My guess is that the curation body saw the number of addresses and instantly declined the request.

I just want to reiterate.

  1. This is the one year anniversary of the launch of our keystone NFT project. The Impact Theory Founders Key.

  2. There was no forms to fill out. The addresses came directly form etherscan. Therefore, there was ZERO botting.

  3. The POAP was a surprise to everyone. We did NOT tell anyone or hint that we would be creating a POAP for keyholders for the anniversary.

  4. When I asked why this appeal was denied the first time there was no mention of any rules broken. I am unsure why this is getting denied besides the number of POAPs to be requested - which came directly from etherscan with NO mention prior the anniversary.

Here is the feedback from the Curation Team:

You can restructure this POAP Drop petition in one of these ways:

  1. Submit a delivery of addresses that minted within the first week and are still actively holding today. Original mint occurred 10/13/21
  2. Request a smaller drop - not to exceed 50 mint links that can be manually distributed to the members of the community that are still actively participating in the community.
  3. Hold a Twitter space with the community to celebrate this milestone together with a POAP via Secret Word Distribution

Hey @julie,

Why are we being forced to downsize the drop? Again, there was no heads up given. It was a surprise and delight for the community.

I’m not sure which rule we broke and why we aren’t able to give a POAP to all holders who owned a key at the time of the anniversary.

All three of those options will ultimately leave out dedicated members of the community and leave some feeling hurt that they aren’t included but are very active.

In addition, even if we did go with option 1 - this would still leave out OG minters as many many people - including myself moved keys to a hardware wallet for security.
