Nature of the event
We are celebrating the first 1’000 views over this podcast and would like to get a POAP for the ones who are here before it goes mainstream. We do have some huge partnerships on the way and would like a way to separate the OGs from the ones who joined afterhand as we plan on creating a discord community (accessible only with the POAP) and physical events.
Distribution plan
We will contact directly every participant via Twitter and will ask them a question about today’s episode. If they can answer it = prove they listened it we will send them a mint link.
Why do you believe this petition is being held?
I think there is a misunderstanding about the nature of the event and what it represents for us: we’ve been only online for 3 weeks and already the biggest crypto podcast in France.
We’ve also received the medal of the best podcast by CZ in the Binance Blockchain Week.
Furthermore, asking for 100 links may be a lot however our podcast does from 120-150 listens every day. We believe a 100 mint links is sufficient to keep this drop efficient.
I have already been in contact with Lea and Julie from the community.

More informations as I’ve been navigating through this forum:
• We did not annonce this to ANYONE beforehand
• We will be very careful with the distribution process as we respect a lot the ones that are original to the podcast and helped it grow
• We already submitted A TEST DROP beforehand with a different artwork that we will not reuse
• As I stated just here, this POAP will be reused in the future with a NFT Gateway: it will use a real usecase of the POAP NFT !
We’ve found a pre-announcement of this POAP on your Twitter account -which is against the POAP Guidelines- and that you’re also promoting engagement with the POAP.
“Engagement farming” is generally defined as issuers using POAPs in a way that incentivizes transactional behavior. Any statement to the effect of “Do X to get a POAP” – particularly where X is an action that boosts performance in social media algorithms – is basically a marker of engagement farming.
“Like to get a POAP”

We did a mistake there and acknowledged it. The message you are referring to is a joke by my superior as I did a grammar mistake in the post (“sais”).
However as I stated earlier and quoted in the tweet, people would have to answer a specific question about our content in private DMs to make sur they are not fake.
This was made in order to find an alternative to the secret word which was denied for us.
I once again reiterate, we should not have done this joke.
Is there anything we could do to prove we do not want engagement farming and only put a medal on the ones that are true to us from the beginning ?
The Secret petition was rejected since this is a pre-recorded podcast.
Pre-recorded content is a use case POAP doesn’t support since the secret word could be leaked and your POAPs could end in the hands of farmers-- people who are only after free NFTs.
The mint links petition was rejected for engagement farming concerns. Apart from answering a question, you’re requesting people to engage to get the POAP (they have to RT the publication).
When we say that POAP is an ecosystem for the preservation of memories, we intend for POAPs to be mementos of a particular experience. A part of the core value proposition of POAPs is that they are a souvenir your get simply for doing something you generally like to do in your life – there is no particular transactional incentive.
My recommendation is to host an event with your OG members (could be a Twitter Space or a Discord Stage, for example) and distribute the POAP there.
