What are you celebrating, and why is it important?
On June 24th 2022 we announced our curated AMA series, ZEND&FRIENDS which is split into different mini-series: Infrastructure, Multichain Lending, StarkNet Educatoors, etc.
Since then we’ve done over 15 AMAs with several DeFi projects. We put a lot of effort into bringing quality guests to our Twitter Space and we like that our community are able to commemorate these events with a POAP.
We had done so without a problem until this week’s AMA on 13/09/2022 where we got a negative review.

How are you planning on getting POAPs to individuals?
We distribute POAPs from our AMAs via Secret Word.
- Why do you believe this petition is being held?
Sometimes, the information received by curators is insufficient to produce a positive review. If you have an idea about what may have flagged your submission, including it here may help
After receiving two straight negative reviews for drop submissions we decided to reach out to POAP customer support to find out where we went wrong and got the following response:
“Looks like due to your previous ways of doing your AMA, you were blacklisted from getting any approval for your petitions. The curation body found that you were using POAP for engagement farming, which is not what POAP should be used for.”
We don’t believe that our AMAs are using POAPs for engagement farming.
- We never mention that there is going to be a POAP for joining the AMA, not even when we announced the ZEND&FRIENDS Series do we talk about POAPs.
- Anyone can join our AMAs which are hosted on our Twitter Spaces. There is no need to follow us on Twitter,join our Discord, etc. Users just need to show up, listen to the Secret Word and mint.
- We always aim to request the closest number of POAPs to the number of attendees we expect on our AMA which is around 150, staying within the suggested <200 for that type of event.
- Please find below our latest AMA announcements on Twitter. If it helps we can provide all of our AMA announcements and reminders and we can assure you there will be no mention of POAPs.
How do we use POAPs?
- As mentioned earlier, we take great pride in our ZEND&FRIENDS AMA Series and the guest speakers we invite, which is why we like attendees to have the option of minting a POAP so they can remember the occasion.
- So far we’ve done 3 mini-series within the ZEND&FRIENDS AMAs: Infrastructure, Multichain Lending and StarkNet Educatooors and whenever we finish a mini-series we like to hold a raffle for holders of said series.
