It’s been 4 days since submission. No idea why it’s being held

Hey @IDriss

TY for the info!
How did you collect the addresses?

By People posting their address/handle in our discord channel and being in our community call (used a bot for attendance).

Hey @Fio , any updates here?

Hey @IDriss

The POAP Curation Body made a negative review of your petition since it’s not clear how did you verify participation for this event.

For future community calls on Discord you should distribute using Degen bot or Secret Word.

Let us know if you have any questions or concerns!

All the best,
The POAP Curation Body

Hey @Fio ,
we used Suivix in our case. Is this not allowed?
Are we getting the poap link for this event, or not? This question remains unanswered for me, sorry.

TY for the info!
Let me send it to Curators and let you know once they have reviewed your appeal.

hey @Fio any updates here? :slightly_smiling_face:

we really don’t kow what else to do here. We would appreciate any answer.

Hey @IDriss

Sorry for my late reply.
The POAP Curation Body rejected your petition since they checked the addresses and most of them belong to POAP farmers --people/bots who are only after free NFTs.

For future events, we recommend the use of POAP Degen or Secret Words.

All the best,

Hey @Fio ,

okay, we can use Degen bot in the future. This does not help with POAP farmers though. Any suggestion on how we can use the whitelisting tool then?

Hey @IDriss

Is there a way that you can vet the collectors to ensure that at least a good portion of the drop goes to genuine members of your community? Asking them a question only attentive individuals would know to prequalify, for instance?

Hey @Fio
during the call, we asked them to drop their IDriss handle in one of our channels. Thats how we got from 400+ people in the call down to only 125 eligible addresses. People had to actually listen to the call at least.

Hey @IDriss!

Ok sounds fine but apparently not enough to filter farmers

The best practice is to use a form and ask 2-3 questions about the event. You can also collect the addresses via the form.

Let us know if you consider this could work.
