Congrats!! Your petitions were reviewed with positive results :star2: :dizzy:
100 for Website & 25/100 Mint-links as a back-up.

How are you distributing these POAPs?
Why do you require 100 for website + 100 for Mint-links for the same drop?

Typically, issuers request a lesser amount of Mint-links as a back–up for people who missed or have issues claiming their POAP when the website or secret was shared.

Ahh, yes I see. Unfortunately I did not make it private and the 100 mints were taken.

We posted it on our discord and under announcements and plan on telling people in person to go to our website volleydao.io

Our strategy changed a bit and after the finals on Sunday, we will be coordinating and posting it from several high profile insta accounts so we expect a lot of traffic.

These are just a few and we are working on getting more athletes at the event to share this with the community. We really want this POAP to be an onboarding experience for web3 as many in the volleyball community don’t know web3.

I requested 2000 more mints via the website. I know thats a lot but theres over 1,000 people at the event and over 1,000 even more watching the event online live on youtube right now and we think we will mint out. We got approved for 200 more but I don’t believe that will be enough. How can we get more? We don’t want to create a supply issue when we spread the link via social media from the athletes.

I requested 2,000, only got 200 more codes and now all of those are gone. I am not sure how this is getting out, its not from our website or discord. The event is private but keeps minting out and this is not getting to our community.

Can we please get a response? We really need to move this forward.

Hey @chepelyuk

The POAP Curation Body made a negative review on your petitions. Website is not the appropriate method for an online event. Websites are appropriate for small-ish events, in real life, with short-ish mint windows. Usage outside this framework (particularly in virtual environments) will tend to result in exploitation.

We see your event was farmed. The Curation Body reviews issuer’s past drops and checks if they were responsibly distributed. Multiple poor distributions can result in negative reviews of future petitions.

For future events: please check the POAP Quality Guidelines before submitting your petitions. We also recommend contacting the POAP Customer Support team, they will help you find the best distribution method for your drops and they will provide the guidelines to avoid farming.

All the best,
The POAP Curation Body
