#32157 Secret Word & Links Not Received For A Few Days

  1. Drop ID: 32157
  2. Community information: This POAP is for everyone that tried to use Discord on March 8th, 2022 but the Discord servers were unfortunately down and they were not able to access their community servers. DM @Dyl_I_Y on Twitter with proof of not being able to access Discord on March 8th for an exclusive POAP to commemorate the date.
Please add any socials, Discord links, or other information that Curators may find useful.
  3. Nature of the event: A funny badge to fill the hole of not being able to use Discord that whole day of March 8th!
  4. Distribution plan: DM @Dyl_I_Y on Twitter with proof of not being able to access Discord on March 8th and then I can pass them the secrete word( I have not been able to get a secrete word approved…instead it only provided 47 links for some reason, but I think a word would be much better for everyone DMing me currently with proof).
  5. Why do you believe this petition is being held?
I have not received any email showing the secret word or additional links were not approved but it has been two plus days and when I check the event admin portal there is the option to request a secrete word( As if the previous request was denied). I had originally requested 2500 links and a secrete word b8t only received 47 links without any context or decline for the others so I am a bit confused. Not sure if there is a bug or something going on, but it would be great to activate a secrete word(or even some links If possible) for those that have e already Dm’d me!
Sometimes, the information received by curators is insufficient to produce a positive review. If you have an idea about what may have flagged your submission, including it here may help

Hey @dyliy

The POAP Curation Body made a negative review of your petition. Your drop was pretty seriously compromised as you posted a list of the mint links on your website

Hi Fiorescan,

Thank you for your response and for providing all of this clarity.

I am rather confused because the secrete word, which was integral to the distribution described in the POAP, was never issued, and I unfrotnaatley never received an email to say it was declined, nor any follow up requests. I was granted only 47 links of the requested 25000 screte word uses. The links that were posted on this page was supposed to showcase what the POAP was about as a little hidden extra to let people claim.
Regardless, the links were posted 3 days after the fact of not having any secrete words being approved and not wanting the POAP to go to waste before the links expire(coming up shortly).
I still have no clarity on what happened with 1. The secrete word not being approved 2.Only 47 of the requested 2500 links being issues 3. No codes or links are being granted with secondary requests and no email to say they have been declined. Hopefully, you can help with this to salvage this or future POAPs!

Thanks for your comment, we appreciate the feedback @dyliy

Your petition for Secrets was negatively reviewed because it was not the appropriate distribution method for your use case. Common use cases dor Secrets are digital meetups like Twitter Spaces or Discord stages where you can share the Secret verbally and close the minting window after the drop ends.

Issuers are supposed to send mint links 1=1 to your audience, not to post them on a public website that anyone can find.

Curators limit the number of codes for a drop for several reasons:

  • There’s no clear distribution plan

  • Communities are smaller than the amount requested (in this case, the Twitter account provided has only 10 followers @Dyl_I_Y)

Let us know if you have any questions.
