I requested extra 2000 POAP codes for the event, since we send a POAP for every new subscriber and the campaign is being a success, so we have more new subs than expected and need to provide them the POAP claim links.
You already received 4000 mint links, but there are only ~800 mints currently:
We recommend not to request more and more POAPs when people subscribe, it should be a fixed point in time. POAPs can be issued for special events and memorable moments of all sizes, physically or virtually, provided good cause to do a drop.
Can you provide more information regarding the subscription and how it works?
The POAP Curation Body
Sure, we have an “Artist of the Week” program, where we select one great artist every week and the artist designs an exclusive POAP that any of our newsletter subscribers can claim within a week period. After that, only the POAP holders participate in a raffle of one NFT from the artist. The goal of the program is to support up-and-coming artists, provide our readers with insights of great artists and also onboard NFT artists to POAP (usually our contact is the first time the artists are creating POAPs, so we onboard them to the process). You can see more information about the artist of the week program here: NFT Innovation Digest #20.
Regarding having requested already 4000 codes and redeems almost 800, we send by email one poap claim link for each subscriber, and he/she has a week to redeem it, since we have got an increased number of new subscribers, we need to send them new codes, while the old subscriber still can redeem their codes, that’s why we’re requesting new 2000 codes, to send to these new subscribers.
Thank you for your support and I’m happy to learn best practices for using POAPs in this case
just for clarifying, the fixed point in time is the week window for claiming the POAP, in this case between Feb 3rd and Feb 10th. After that no new poap code will be asked or redeemed
Thanks for clarifying
Looks like your drop received a positive review.
You’re all ready to go!
